Aled & Stephen - Brangwyn Hall Swansea Wedding Photography Gay Lockdown Weddings

A story of determination

Planning a wedding is full of challenges and unforeseeable variables behind the scenes of all the wonderful joy at the best of times, I hear so many stories and share with many of my couples their worries and plans for all aspects of their wedding day. So, I think it’s only right to start this wonderful wedding of Aled & Stephen by recognising their determination to overcome curveballs from all directions and focus on what is really important, one another.

This should have been my 37th wedding that year, but it was my 4th and final wedding of 2020, of course due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. In fact, just to visualise how chuffed I was that Aled & Stephen’s date could go ahead, here is my actual booking list (anything in pink has been postponed/cancelled, and right there is this lovely couple’s date bang in the middle, defiant in blue.)

Aled & Stephen’s small wedding ceremony was to take place at The Brangwyn Hall in Swansea which was just incredible, it was my first time shooting at this venue which always excites me as everything is fresh and creative! We shot their pre-wedding session during the evening glow at Three Cliffs Bay, Gower, dipping our feet in the sea and catching all the warm light the Gower has to offer!

The wedding itself was super intimate and relaxed, and was just a pleasure to document from start to finish!

Below are some highlights!
