Hensol Castle Wedding Photography
This one was absolutely epic from start to finish. Please scroll down for a quick overview and to see for yourself how incredible James & Stephanie's wedding day really was:
Now that you have the general idea
Let's dive a little bit deeper, and let me share with you a bit more of how these beautiful memories came to be.
The excitement James and Stephanie shared for their wedding was immediately evident when we initially met up for a cup of tea and a chat, hearing the sheer amount of attention to the smallest details the lovely pair had thought of in the lead up to the day filled me with so much excitement, it was so clear how much thought and effort had gone into the planning, I knew it would reflect brilliantly during the wedding!
Arriving for bridal preparations in the morning, the girls were all super excited which was so infectious and had everyone smiling. The attention to detail I mentioned previously was evident before even stepping foot in to the house with the seriously impressive wedding-themed artwork and messages power-washed up the whole driveway by the father of the bride (big shoutout to Stephen).
Quickly popping over to photograph groom preparations with James and the boys in an equally busy and happy environment was a great laugh, leaving me enough time to go back to the girls and get some amazingly emotional dress reveal photography with Steph's bridesmaids and Dad seeing her dress for the first time.
The traditional Church ceremony was a grand affair, with PLENTY of tears from James, setting his eyes on Steph coming down the aisle, and was followed by arguably the biggest, longest shower of brilliant white confetti I have ever photographed.
Photographing the reception at Hensol Castle was just beautiful. James and Steph's family photos were followed by one of my all time favourite couple portrait photography sessions at Hensol Castle EVER. We used plenty of the grounds, the lake and indoors for some super creative couple photography. We even managed to get outside for a sunset wedding photography session in the evening.
The rest of the reception saw a spontaneous flashmob chorus of song which all guests were involved in, ending the night with some super fun, colourful wedding dancefloor photography. The icing on the cake was photographing James and Steph's sparklers, which we got loads of guests outside Hensol Castle for. This also ended in plenty of chanting and acapella singing outdoors in a massive huddle. It was just one of those weddings I did not want to leave. Ever.
Thanks again James & Steph for having me as your Hensol Castle wedding photographer! Below is a more extensive set of highlights from throughout the day.
