Leigh & Joanne | National Waterfront Museum Swansea | Wedding Photography Highlights

FUN. FUN. FUN.

These are the three words that I can use to summarise this gorgeous autumn wedding that I had the pleasure to attend on the 5th of November 2016.

Why?

This unique wedding was held at the National Waterfront Museum, Swansea, and it was totally different to what the rest of my year has been filled with. Starting at 4pm on a chilly Bonfire Night, the naturally lit bridal preparations and buildup were followed by plenty of opportunities to get creative with flash, as the sun went down before the ceremony.

The dusky sunset over the marina made from some atmospheric bridal and couple portraits, and made a perfect backdrop for some some lovely candid moments.

After this time with Leigh & Jo, I was greeted by a dance floor full of family and friends in one of the biggest evening receptions to date. The first dance set the tone for the party atmosphere, making the dance floor photography even more fun. Busting some (questionable) moves myself - I was up close and personal with the action. I really didn't want to leave, but I exited the dance floor doing some kind of weird dance/walk hybrid.

In true Bonfire Night fashion, I ended the night capturing the sparklers - a final opportunity for more creative wedding photography!

Thank you, Jo and Leigh, for allowing me to be your Swansea wedding photographer and for a totally unforgettable evening. I hope you enjoy some personal highlights below!
