Malcesine Castle Wedding
This was my second time shooting a destination wedding at this incredible venue and I loved every minute of it!
Before heading out to join them as their Malcesine Castle wedding photographer, I first met Linda & Dan in Bath where they met one another at university. We chatted about their plans over a coffee, and we had a wander around Bath for their pre-wedding photography session.
When I landed in Italy and made my way to Lake Garda I met up with Linda, Dan and their guests for some drinks the night before the wedding which was a lovely way to get to know people!
The wedding day itself was just lovely, we had a lovely mix of weather from sunshine to stormy rain, which is quite common for Lake Garda, and they both took it all in their stride and had a great laugh. After some preparation shots, we headed to Malcesine Castle for the wedding ceremony. This was followed by some chilled photographs in the castle itself, before rejoining guests for a walk through the cobbled roads to the lakeside for a lovely buffet and drinks.
The boat trip across the lake was a proper laugh and I can fully recommend anyone wishing to get married here goes for it too! We caught the land train up the hill to the reception venue for food and a bloody brilliant party to end the night!
