Sant Ffraed House Wedding Photography
As with the whole Oldwalls Collection, its always such a pleasure shooting weddings at Sant Ffraed House in Abergavenny. If you’ve seen it online, or especially if you’ve visited in person, you know what I’m talking about. It’s rare to find a wedding venue in South Wales with SUCH a huge visual impact as soon as your guests make their way down the driveway and catch the first glimpse of the house itself.
As a wedding photographer at Sant Ffraed House, I’m obviously just spoilt for choice for photos. Every indoor space is super light and spacious, the decor is clean and modern, everything feels premium. It’s such a gorgeous backdrop for couple portraits too, wandering around the grounds for 15 minutes is plenty to get such a huge variation of shots!
Top tip: I also love to head back into the main house during the evening/night for some proper classy, direct flash, red carpet style editorial couple portraits, the bridal suite itself is gorgeous and it would be a shame not to make use of the disco ball!! Perfect opportunity if you’re planning an outfit change for the evening!
The staff are, of course, simply wonderful and nothing is too much trouble, they’re super present and helpful on the day itself.
