A beautiful outdoor small wedding at Maesbrook, Monmouthshire
Lauren & Ryan’s resilience and determination during what has been a bit of a unique year absolutely shined through for their chilled, intimate outdoor wedding ceremony at Maesbrook, Monmouthshire. I was absolutely chuffed hearing about their plan for such a wonderfully relaxed celebration of their marriage together, and it was such a pleasure to be able to join them to document it.
It was my first time at Maesbrook, and I can definitely see why Lauren & Ryan chose it! It was so perfect for the outdoor ceremony for both family bubbles. The venue was super secluded and quiet, set in the Welsh countryside surrounded by nothing but fields, apple trees, and lavender hedgerows. There were so many wonderful places for a nice stroll around the grounds for some natural couple photography, we were spoilt for choice!
There were a few moments when the weather looked a bit ominous as you can see from the photographs below (those clouds have not been edited, that huge dark cloud just missed us!) The weather was even on our side for the chilled speeches and food which were able to take place outside too.
This wonderful wedding was just as chilled as Lauren & Ryan said it would be and super refreshing to be a part of this year, I am so thankful to have been able to witness it! I hope you enjoy some wedding photography highlights bellow.
