The pure excitement shared by Jon, Lianne and their lovely family and friends was obvious throughout this high-energy wedding day, and from the moment I arrived for bridal and groom preparations at The Marriott Hotel, Cardiff. Lianne and her room full of girls were busy and full of fun and laughter, while Jon's preparations were super chilled, sharing a drink or two with his dad.
We then travelled over to Cardiff Castle for this lovely pair's wedding ceremony, with Jon making quite an entrance in a Lamborghini. Yes, A LAMBORGHINI. The weather was totally perfect throughout the day, with lovely blue skies over Cardiff (what better excuse to have the roof down on the Lambo eh?
The Cardiff Castle wedding ceremony was full of such genuine laughs, and even a few tears during some lovely readings, it was a pleasure to witness. Showers of confetti and some lovely group shots preceded some lovely natural, relaxed wedding photography around Cardiff Castle, when I joined Jon & Lianne for a walk around the grounds and buildings of the gorgeous venue. More tears and laughter followed after food during some of the most heartfelt speeches I've ever heard, then we even had the chance to take a quick trip outside for some Bute Park wedding photography with views of the castle from the other side, with plenty of romantic and emotional shots.
From this point, everyone headed back to The Marriott Hotel for the evening reception which was INCREDIBLE. Featuring a cake and donut cart, live racing simulators and some epic live music which filled the dancefloor.
