A beautifully happy full day wedding full of rustic charm
James & Natalie got in touch with me and booked really early, so it was lovely to meet up a few times before their wedding to see how their plans came together from start to finish! There was plenty of DIY loveliness involved in their day, including the gorgeous colourful hand-dried flowers for confetti. It was super clear how excited they were from our first meet up to chat through initial plans, and their relaxed easy-going approach made the whole day flow beautifully!
I joined Natalie and the girls in the morning for some bridal preparations at the cottage at The King Arthur Hotel, which was immediately chilled, including lots of prosecco and strawberries! We got some lovely fun shots before heading over to see James and the boys, who were also getting ready at the venue.
The wedding ceremony at The King Arthur Hotel was super cosy and covered in fairylights with some beautifully-thought out decorations, the sun streamed in through the big glass windows and lit James & Natalie up wonderfully! Following the ceremony, we headed outside for some chilled group photographs and confetti, before the couple let me join them for some quiet portraits alone, getting some lovely relaxed couple wedding photography in the grounds of The King Arthur Hotel.
James & Natalie being the adventurous type then jumped in the car and the three of us headed out for some wedding photos on Cefn Bryn. We were lucky to have a quiet road and spectacular Gower views for some nice intimate couple photographs (they absolutely smashed it, as you can see!) Whilst on the side of the road with the hazard lights on the car, one kind samaritan even offered to give us a lift back to the wedding as he thought we had broken down!
Heading back to the wedding at The King Arthur Hotel Swansea, there were some patchy rain showers which weren't enough to move the celebrations indoors, and they quickly passed by.
The cosy afternoon and evening reception was absolutely FULL of incredible wedding dancefloor photography, as the live band - The Raspberry Jam - filled the dancefloor, as always.
