From the moment I arrived at Kat and Harry's wedding at The Ceridwen Centre near Carmarthen, I knew it was going to be a special day. Greeted with big hugs, I was instantly enveloped in the warmth and love that defined the entire celebration. The weather was perfect – a lovely sunny day that set the stage for a beautiful outdoor ceremony under an arch of vibrant flowers. Kat & Harry’s friend Oli was officiating too which made things even more special!
The morning prep and the rest of the day were just incredibly relaxed and fun. There was no stress or pressure, just pure enjoyment and great times. This laid-back vibe was a true reflection of Kat and Harry's personalities. I actually first met this wonderful couple during a pottery lesson at my home studio, Parc Pottery (shoutout to my side business, www.parcpottery.com). We chatted about their wedding plans, which led to a fantastic pre-wedding shoot full of laughs at Caswell Bay, and then onto this genuinely bloody brilliant wedding day!
The ceremony was a visual delight with an abundance of rose petal confetti to finish– so much so that I was still finding petals in my hair the next day! The festivities continued in the tipi, where guests enjoyed delicious food and heartfelt speeches. Kat and Harry's homebrewed Elderflower and Ginger Kombucha went down a storm too.
Photographing Kat and Harry around the expansive and varied grounds of The Ceridwen Centre was a dream. The scenery offers endless opportunities for stunning shots. A particularly fun moment was when we stumbled upon a group of their friends staying in a double-decker bus. They were hosting a pre-party with toy guns, shooting Guinness cans off a BBQ. We all joined in, and it was an absolute blast!
The evening was capped off with the couple's first dance in the barn, followed by one of the most unforgettable dance floors I've ever experienced. The energy and joy were palpable, and the dancing was so spectacular that I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.
I can’t thank Kat and Harry enough for allowing me to be part of their incredible day at The Ceridwen Centre. It was an honor to capture such genuine moments of happiness and love. Here’s to many more days as beautiful as this one!
