I had the incredible opportunity to travel from the UK to capture Loviisa and James' enchanting wedding in the breathtaking city of Verona, Italy. From the incredibly picturesque venue to the joyful moments shared by their loved ones, countless courses of amazing Italian food and one of the best parties to end the night I’ve ever got stuck into, it was a day filled with genuine laughs and great times.

The day began with James and his grooms-people preparing for the big day at his parents' house. Pizza and beers added a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere as they shared jokes and chilled before the big day to come. Meanwhile, Loviisa and her bridesmaids were busy getting ready for the ceremony nearby, adorning themselves with handmade flower crowns!

I headed to Villa Mosconi Bertani, and once I had picked my jaw up off the floor, I went in to capture the venue before guests started arriving. Loviisa's aunt officiated the ceremony, adding such a lovely personal touch to it all. Despite a sprinkling of rain, the weather couldn't dampen the spirits of these wonderful people and their guests. Everyone fully embraced the joyous celebration and it was so clear to see how much fun was being had.

After the ceremony, Loviisa’s Dad high up on the balcony played a trumpet fanfare to announce the newlyweds as they exited! What made this wedding truly remarkable was the gathering of guests from all corners of the globe. James' Australian family and Loviisa's Finnish relatives joined together, bridging cultures and creating a colourful atmosphere of love.

The reception was kicked off with a talented live band, setting the perfect ambiance for a lot of dancing and celebration. Guests couldn’t wait to get stuck in to the dancefloor as you can see below, and when the night fell, a silent disco ignited the dance floor, as guests grooved to their favorite tunes through wireless headphones, creating an unforgettable experience for all. I stayed right through to the end at around 2am, absolutely loving the silent disco!

As I reflect on Loviisa and James' destination wedding in Verona, Italy, I can't help but feel privileged to have witnessed such a remarkable celebration of love. From the intimate moments of preparation to the grand festivities that followed, every aspect of the day was infused with joy, laughter, and the magic of togetherness. It was an honor to capture these beautiful memories, and I wish Loviisa and James a lifetime of happiness and love as they embark on this incredible journey together.
