South Indian/Welsh fusion wedding at The King Arthur Swansea - Wedding Photography highlights
Laasya & Jack’s scorching hot outdoor wedding in July at The King Arthur Gower, Swansea, was full of life, colour, dancing and FUN!
It was a pleasure to photograph this glorious day which was on the extreme end of chilled and relaxed, exactly what I love to see!! Nothing forced, no strict timeline, no list of demands for couple photos, family photos, no first dance, no cake, just pure candid and REAL fun with their guests who had travelled from all over!
I knew this day would be purely fun when chatting with Laasya & Jack before the day, and they told me how they didn’t want the traditional stuff and just wanted to have the best time ever with their closes families and friends.
The King Arthur Swansea, as a wedding photographer, is always such a pleasure. It suits this kind of relaxed and easy-going wedding perfectly, the staff are always so flexible and accommodating!
The ceremony at their relatively new outdoor ceremony space in the sun was beautiful and included some elements from South Indian ceremonies such as the giving and receiving of flower garlands and Jack tying a Thali on Laasya, as well as rings and some beautiful reading from close family.
Then the partying started pretty much straight away! The beautiful colourful outfits and dancing outside in the sunshine was just awesome and set the tone for the rest of the day! We did a quiz during the reception, and the most epic Ceilidh had the whole wedding dancing together under the much needed air conditioning!
I thoroughly enjoyed being Laasya & Jack’s Swansea wedding photographer, below are some highlights from the day!
